Festive Days in Indonesia. The Chief Apostle conducted a Divine Service for Ministers and wives at our Gendeng Church on Saturday 27. June with the text from John 17:18 which was transmitted by satellite, reaching out to all ministers of GKBI. An impressive JOYinCHRIST concert followed in the afternoon at Universitas Kristen Duta Wacana.

The Chief Apostle travelled by train from Yogiakarta to Gombong on Sunday. He conducted in our Gombong Church in Central Java which was focused on: 1 Peter 3:8+9 and served also as preparation for the Divine Service for the Departed coming July 5. The last Chief Apostle Service was here some 25 years ago by CA Fehr. 2707 gathered in the Church and around it. By nationwide satellite transmission 10434 were reached.

His Indonesian visit was concluded with a little extra tour to Bandung where he met with DA ret Alfons Tansahtikno who could not attend the Divines service due to his illness, and his family. Needless to say, much joy was brought to the house of the retired District Apostle.

Since in town he visited the GKBI head office and addressed the staff of administration. He encouraged them and prayed for the blessing on all the work and pending projects. The Chief Apostle visited the Palasari Church and was briefed on plans to enlarge, renovate and add a new office building. This is one of the first churches in Indonesia and will be celebrating Palmsunday 2016 its 70th anniversary.
