On Easter Sunday the District Elder Sudirman entered into well deserved retirement. Born into a newapostolic family in Kebumen on 18 August 1949 he became a Deacon on 11th August 1983 and subsequently served many years in various ministries until he was ordained District Elder on 14th May 1999. He worked untiringly according to his mission and was motivated by his motto

“No day without serving, with the Lord we can do”

As successor the District Apostle ordained DEv. Tri Prabowo as District Elder and Ev. Mercy Christiawan as District Evangelist. Our thankfulness accompany the retired District Elder and best wishes for blessed ministrations to the new District Rectors.

During his travel the District Apostle shared further highlights with his hosts. On Good Friday the Cilicap Sunday School surprised all with a “Passion of Christ play” accompanied by Anklung and choir presentations.
