Ap. Edy Isnugroho hosted another program for the District Apostle who visited Indonesia from 20th to 25th May 2014. First, the Board of Management welcomed Dc. Brenner (CFO, NACInternational) for a one day discussion on church strategy and finances. In Kedoya Congregation, Br. Ferdinan Markus was ordained Deacon and Pr. Indrawan Adinugraha was confirmed in his priestly commission. Then in Yogyakarta, a subdistrict divine service in Klaten (394 Attendance) Sh. Dawud Gunanto was ordained District Evangelist and Pr. Indar Daniel Wicaksono received the ministry of an Evangelist. All ministers and wives (237) gathered in our Beran Church. Sunday brought another highlight in our Krakitan Church. 42 young Brothers and Sisters made their confirmation vow before a congregation of 354. An impressive orchestra of strings and even with a saxophone beautified the Divine Service. “GKBI is truly a strong church in the assembly of NACSEAsia” the District Apostle commented and wished a continued blessed development. The sermons were based on: “the testimony of Jesus by example” (Mark 15:39) “ Just trust in the word” (Matthew 8.8) “Confidence in Philemon because he did more” (Philemon 21) and the Chief Apostle message for the Confirmands “continue in what you have learned” (2. Timothy 3:14)
