Apostle Edy Isnugroho called for another National District Rectors Convention and invited to Gombong, Central Java, from 2nd to 4th September . Host was this time Ap. Samuel Hadiwidagdo.
Many details concerning the Church in Indonesia were discussed. On Friday 4th the District Apostle addressed the assembly on the subject: “Our sending, our oneness – we need each other” and unity and oneness serve exactly that purpose. We need each other to accomplish what the Lord has sent us for. To bring together, to bring up and fashion the bridal congregation. The spiritual reflections elaborated on the request of Paul that as he imitates Christ we shall imitate him, (from 1st Corinthians 11:1) How to deal with changes, as well as “Coaching and Mentoring” were other subjects on the agenda.
Our nac.today correspondent Dc. Willy Bernardi reports on the congregational visits the District Apostle had on his program.
Four days trip of District Apostle Hebeisen
From Wednesday, 2 September until Sunday, 6 September 2015, District Apostle Urs Hebeisen has conducted services for the children of God and minsters in Kramatjati (Jakarta), Gombong, Karangkemiri and Purwodadi (Central Java).
In Kramatjati, a narrated mini-drama with a song “Often you spread seeds on hard road” by the children greeted the District Apostle Urs Hebeisen on Wednesday, 2 September 2015 the District Apostle based the divine service on a word from Acts 12:5. Through the event of liberation of Peter from prison in early Christian age, an emphasis on how important the prayer of intercession was the focus point of the divine service. “Dear Brother and Sister, to pray for somebody else is a sign of our love for him”, said the District Apostle.
On Friday, 4 September 2015, the ministers from District Kedu received the service of District Apostle Hebeisen at Gombong church. The same word as it had been given by the Chief Apostle in his visit to Gendeng Church at Yogyakarta on 27 June 2015, (John 17:18). The message of the Chief Apostle were once more reflected on. The ministrations by ministers shall be accorded to the example of Jesus Christ.
The brothers and sisters in Karangkemiri were joyful of the first coming of District Apostle Urs Hebeisen to the congregation on Saturday, 5 September 2015. “Why didn’t I come before, it’s so beautiful”, he stated before he based the divine service on the word from 2 Thessalonians 3:5. The role of the Holy Spirit in directing men’s heart to God the Father and God the Son and how important it is to show maturity of faith in assuming own responsibility.
“Today we must take responsibility and we say, “Yes, Lord, I know, I believe, and I trust You, that’s my decision!” he concluded.
For the first time also, District Apostle Urs Hebeisen served the children of God in Purwodadi congregation on Sunday, 6 September 2015, that he knew as a congregation of great newapostolic history. The bible text from Mark 9:7,8 led through the divine service, showing by the event of the Lord Jesus’ transfiguration, that we, who came from many conditions are brought also to the mountain of transfiguration. Today it is where the work of God is done, in divine services.
“God leads us up, to this mountain. He comforts us in the divine service and He shows us the glory of Christ”.
