The District Apostle visited Yogiakarta from 19th to 21st February. First to celebrate the 80th birthday of the Apostle Yusak Saptohadipraytno. Born in 1936 God’s work was already over 50 years old. Yet Ap. Yusak as he is lovingly called can still be counted among the pioneers in modern day GKBI. Obviously his age and health restricts him considerably but his spirit is very awake and his heart full of joy and thanksgiving. The divine service at Gendeng Church was based on 2. Corinthians 1:3-4. Jesus Christ promised the Holy Spirit to come as helper to comfort us and we want to comfort also each other. An enthusiastic Youth gathered at Beran Church. Matthew 7:7-8. Jesus Christ inquired the will of God. He had options but only wanted to fulfill His father’s will. Ask God what your future shall be, seek the place where He can bless you and knock at door of opportunity, the kingdom of God. You will fulfill your life as Jesus did His. Not just ask but actively seek and knock at the door of blessing. Jesus knocks also at your door. This was the message to youth.
