From 8 to 17 April 2016, Apostle Edy Isnugroho served congregations in Papua. He was accompanied by Bishop Dwi Sulistyo Utomo and District Elder Jonathan. A total of eight divine services and two meetings of the brothers in ministry – one of them with their wives – were held to strengthen the children of God on this Bumi Cendrawasih, a name for Papua based on its unique animal namely Bird-of-paradise.

Congregations served in the divine services by Rasul Edy along with his companions were Timika, Sentani, Samabusa, Warkimbon, Wirmaker, Pasirido, Raja Ampat and Sorong (combined of Km. 26, Malano Pasir and Aimas). A total of 508 people were served in these services. Points such as the gift of divine election, taking part in Holy Communion, the struggle for the blessing, love as the basis of our work, and forgiveness of sins were emphasized by Apostle Edy Isnugroho.

Apostle also conducted acts of grace in these services. He sealed a total of 30 souls and gave an honored retirement to Deacon Yulianus Yam who has served in Pasirido until the age of 83.
On Tuesday, April 12, 2016, the ministers and their wives of Biak region received elaboration from Apostle Edy at a meeting in Wirmaker which highlighted the ministry of the Lord Jesus as Prophet, Priest and King. Next day in the afternoon, Apostle Edy gathered the ministers of Pasirido congregation in a meeting attended by 9 ministers.
