As scheduled, District Apostle visit the Kedu area on 6 to 7 November 2010, coinciding with the Divine Service for the Departed. This brought great joy to the children of God in the Kedu. Before the Divine Service for the Departed, held on Saturday Divine Service for the brothers and wifes as well as the teachers at the event followed by a devotional and musical and singing worship program.
Divine Service for the brothers, wifes and the teachers
In this service, District Apostle took some passages from
Zechariah 1 : 14 “I am zealous for Jerusalem And for Zion with great zeal.”
In the service District Apostle convey the importance of the role of wife in God’s works. Likewise, the brothers in doing God’s work must not use the existing capabilities in theirself, but should be based on reliance on God. In this divine service, Apostle Edy Isnugroho and Samuel also serve along.
Devotional Night and Singing and Worship program
District Apostle is pleased to convey the need for preparation and solemn prayers to be inviting the souls in the eternity for taking part in the service of God in the Divine Service. To adjust the heart and soul of the children of God and the brothers, singing and musical program is also carried out, performed by the children and the chorus.
Divine Service for the Departed
The Divine Service held in Gombong congregations and attended by 1292 people, including the district brothers from Banyumas and Cilacap.
In his sermon, District Apostle said that the deliverance of souls who have been there in the eternity can only be carried out according to God’s law. To obtain the deliverance that God has determined that these souls have to get a new birth through water and spirit. New birth through water and spirit is an absolute prerequisite for all souls, both who are still on earth or in heaven, to communion with Christ.
