Also this year the District Apostle visited Bandung on the birthday of the retired District Apostle Tansahtikno. A Divine Service was conducted at the sick bed of the retired District Apostle. All enjoyed the singing of the youth who came for the occasion. We wish the District Apostle in retirement a happy birthday. May he keep up his good spirit even though bed ridden. Our prayers are with him.
Our church in Rawaselang
After a divine service at our Rawaselang Church, the church in Andir was full on Sunday morning for the Bandung District Service. Act 4:31 was the basis of the sermon. The Apostles were in trouble, they assembled, prayed together and the place was shaken. All were filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to profess Christ with boldness. “we, too” the District Apostle elaborated “..find ourselves often in difficult situations. Where shall we turn to? Assemble in the Divine service where we pray together and thus for each other, and the Lord will shake the situation we are in. When things are shaken it becomes visible what is godly and what not. Filled with the Holy Spirit we see again clearly and can continue to be a witness of the gospel, an a reference letter of the apostolate, known and ready by all mankind (2. Cor. 3:2-3)”

Saturday night belonged to the Youth. They had many questions ready for the District Apostle but also offered their kind of music to make it an enjoyable evening of fellowship and sharing.

Divine Service for Ministers and wives in our Palasari church, and a visit to the Administration office to meet the staff of GKBI, the New Apostolic Church in Indonesia rounded this annual visit up. Palasari Church needs badly renovation but no permit was received so far. Let us pray that this historical Church of ours can soon be renovated and stand again in its beauty.
