Indonesian Apostles in the Philippines

The two biggest countries in NACSEAsia are the Philippines and Indonesia. While the Philippines is rich in members and congregations, Indonesia is the oldest and strongest Church. From the very beginning of his term the District Apostle realized we have to bring them closer together.

“These two regional churches shall benefit from each other”

Already Chief Apostle Leber envisioned and CA Schneider is quoted for saying “the two countries shall compliment each other” Growing together means understanding each other, and much was done already towards this goal. Philippine Apostles visited Indonesia and vice versa. A good strategy, promoting oneness.

The Apostles from Indonesia and Bishop Samuel Tansahtikno have been in the Philippines from 2nd to 14th November. First in Negros Occidental for the divine service for the departed and then visiting various congregations on the Island of Negros before they joined the Family day in Bauang, La Union. “everywhere a bit different but the same” Apostle Samuel commented at the end of the groups visit.
