Circular of District Apostle 27 April 2020

Dear Ministers and Brothers and Sisters,

The Church Leader hereby announce the following matters:

  1. Divine services are held normally, that is, with the attendance of Brothers and Sisters in the church, as well as by streaming. Divine services in congregations can be held normally if the local conditions allow and it depends on the direction and policy of the local national government. If divine services in a congregation have not been able to be held normally, they will still be held via streaming. Health protocols, social and physical distancing must be kept in mind. If the government limits the number of participants in divine services, we must adjust to it.
  2. The celebration of the Holy Communion can be carried out by observing the conditions, among which the ministers must disinfect their hands before distributing the Holy Communion and also wearing a mask.
  3. This year’s confirmation service is postponed to the next year because the current situation and condition cannot yet be predicted, when the COVID-19 pandemic will end.
  4. The service plan of the District Apostle and Apostles for the coming weeks and months cannot be determined now, because traveling is prohibited and flight services are canceled until the beginning of June 2020.

We continue to pray that this virus pandemic will end soon.

Yours,

Edy Isnugroho
