Krakitan is a New Apostolic Church congregation in the southern province of Yogyakarta Special Region. This year, the congregation is 100 years old. District Apostle Helper Edy Isnugroho has served God’s children there on Thursday, July 13, 2017 and underlined the divine service with the passage from Matthew 12:29 “Or how can one enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man? And then he will plunder his house.” The service was at the same time one of the highlights of the anniversary celebration event in addition to a mini concert held on Saturday, July 15, 2017.
Previously, several series of events since February have been held to enliven the celebration including social service, workshops, free treatment, and inter-congregation futsal competition of Yogyakarta District and representatives from the Pantura district. Krakitan congregation is an expansion of the Ngabean Mangir congregation, and is now being cared for by Evangelist Heri Sulistyo assisted by several Priests and Deacons with a total membership of about 145 people.
