Thursday, May 13, 2010 was a day full of blessings and joy, especially for the congregation of Palembang, South Sumatra. District Apostle Urs Hebeisen served the children of God there. He was accompanied by the Apostle Edy Isnugroho, Bishop Widodo, District Elder Trius Joko, District Evangelist Bambang Purwadi (DKI Jakarta), Evangelist Eko S. Hadi (Bangka-Belitung), and Evangelist Arisidi (host).

District Apostle using the words from

John 16:28 I came forth from the Father and have come into the world. Again, I leave the world and go to the Father.

District Apostle stressed that we are children of God the Father when we receive the holy sealing through the hands of an Apostle. Then the District Apostle also asked to leave the ‘world’. What is meant by ‘world’ here is a ‘master’ who else other than God, has a cocky attitude and feel no need of God, and the last is the thoughts that God is delaying His coming. Furthermore, Apostle Edy Isnugroho, Bishop Widodo, District Evangelist Bambang Purwadi, and Priest Ferry Soetikno were also serve.

After celebration of Holy Communion and Communion for the departed, District Apostle gave the blessing for the golden wedding couple, Priest Rudy Soetikno and sister Hetty.

To the golden couple, District Apostles providing passage from

Philippians 1:6 being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete [it] until the day of Jesus Christ;

John 10:29 … no one is able to snatch [them] out of My Father’s hand.

In this occasion, District Apostle invite for each couple to follow the golden couple in order to be able to be loyal and keep the love at beginning. The service was closed with prayer and benediction.
